The Broadway hit musical Disney’s Aladdin opened this summer at the Prince Edward theatre in London’s West End, with TiMax vocal imaging and effects spatialisation firmly in situ at the heart of the Ken Travis sound design. Three TiMax2 SoundHub-S64 units (including a hot spare) were purchased by audio provider Autograph Sound, and link to a DiGiCo SD7T console and d&b amplification via MADI and Optocore. Autograph also provided a TiMax Tracker system which follows the actors around stage to automate the magic of spatial amplification delivered by the TiMax dynamic delay-matrix.

When the Melbourne Recital Centre (MRC) opened in 2009, the venue’s management realised that it had to offer something special in a city already blessed with more than its fair share of great places to hear music. Therefore, the aim of the MRC was to provide a suitable acoustic performance space for instrumental music such as typically small classical ensembles. A PA system was deemed appropriate for such a venue, having acknowledged that the acoustics were paramount above everything else. However, in its quest to attract more bookings than the current 500 yearly events the MRC currently offers, and thanks to Creative Victoria funding, the PA system was recently enhanced.

BBALLAE (which means laundry in the Korean language)is a Korean original musical. The story centers around a young woman named Na young who moves to Seoul and meets Solongo, an illegal immigrant from Mongolia，over a load of laundry.They both work hard to get by and struggle to hold on， though life deals them quite a few blows. Backnang, Germany (February 29, 2016)—A mainstay of the modern live sound market, loudspeaker system manufacturer d&b audiotechnik has been acquired by Ardian, an international, independent private investment company. The purchase was made from investment companies Odewald & Compagnie and COBEPA, which first acquired d&b in 2011. Financial arrangements were not disclosed and the transaction is still subject to regulatory approval.

The double 18-inch B22-SUB has become the largest omnidirectional subwoofer in the d&b audiotechnik range, having been launched as an update to B2-SUB. According to the manufacturer, the sub is meant as a‘new take on an old friend’.
