Hong Kong Cantopop singer Hins Cheung, cooperated with Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, held their “HKPO x Hins Cheung” concert from 4th to 6th November 2011 at the Star Hall of Hong Kong International Trade & Exhibition Centre.

To pursuit the best real sound reproduction, they not only invited Chinese famous Sound Engineers Mr. Jin Shaogang, Mr. Li Yongjun and Mr. Li Anzhen, but also selected d&b audiotechnik J-Series loudspeakers to reproduce Cheung’s melodious voice and HKPO’s wonderful performance.

d&b sound systems and equipment, mainly composed of J-Series loudspeakers and E8 loudspeakers for covering far field and front field listening positions respectively, were provided by d&b audiotechnik’s pro rental partner, Miso Tech Co Ltd.

With d&b Line ArrayCalc software to calculate the distribution of subwoofer arrays, the acoustically match and mechanically compatible construction make them be suspended conveniently in any conditions. J-SUB cardioid subwoofer can be extended frequency response through controlling the directionality that could diminish the interruptions of low frequency to the stage or dance floor.

As front fill speakers to the lip of the stage, the high performance 2-way E8 loudspeakers can be used in a wide variety of production requirements, such as speech and music reinforcement with or without E12X-SUBs. The multi faceted shape of the enclosure allows use either in an upright or horizontal orientation as well as deployment as a stage monitor.
