Hong Kong Kwai Tsing Theatre
The opening of Kwai Tsing Theatre in November 1999 was a milestone in the cultural development of Hong Kong. The well-equipped Theatre has a auditorium with 903 seats, can cater for all types of performing arts. The Black Box Theatre was opened in May 2008 and it is the first black box theatre at the Leisure and Cultural Services Department’s performing venues to meet the growing demand for holding small scale and experimental theatrical productions among local arts groups. With a maximum capacity of 144 seats, the Black Box Theatre is most suitable for small scale innovative theatre and dance productions. Other facilities include a Lecture Room, a Dance Studio and a Rehearsal Room.
Kwai Tsing Theatre uses d&b audiotechnik as the main PA system, this system is suited to both speech and music, the equipment list is as follows:
