The event was co-hosted by the Guangdong Association of Recording Engineers and Sound Works. True to its purpose as a cutting-edge technology exchange, Sound Works was fully committed to sharing the most advanced technologies and practical insights with all attendees. The products demonstrated included Yamaha's latest RIVAGE PM Series digital mixing systems, d&b audiotechnik A-Series sound systems, Shure AD3 plug-on wireless transmitters, and Shure TwinPlex™ miniature microphones.

The event was structured into several segments. Following the opening address by Mr. Li Guangzhou, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Guangdong Association of Recording Engineers, the program commenced with a detailed technical analysis of the Yamaha RIVAGE PM series — which includes the PM5 and PM3 digital mixing consoles — delivered by Mr. Chen Hao, Technical Director of the PA Sales Department at Yamaha Musical Instruments & Sound (China) Investment Co., Ltd.
He highlighted the series' new control interface, designed for smooth and intuitive operation. The reduced depth of the surface allows for a more comfortable posture when accessing displays and controls, while also improving sightlines. Each fader, positioned next to its level meter, offers precise tracking and excellent visibility, enabling effortless fine adjustments.

The session continued with a presentation and live demonstration by Mr. Xue Wanling, Manager of Education, Application, and Support for d&b audiotechnik Greater China, who personally showcased the powerful capabilities of d&b's latest A-Series sound system.
The A-Series loudspeakers combine the flexibility of point source arraying with the familiar d&b focus on directivity and system consistency, while also providing line array-like high directivity. This allows sound reinforcement systems to break free from previous limitations. The new Mid-Frequency Directivity Control (MDC) technology ensures even distribution across the mid-low frequency range. It redefines the flexibility of sound reinforcement systems, meeting a full range of application needs with extensive coverage, high system scalability, and exceptional sound quality.
Following the listening demonstration, attendees unanimously expressed how impressed they were by the system's highly efficient, precise control and outstanding audio quality.

The agenda then proceeded to the introduction of the Shure AD3 Plug-on Transmitter and TwinPlex™ Microphones. Due to pandemic-related restrictions, Mr. Junwei Fang, Senior Product Manager at Shure, was unable to attend in person and instead joined via live video stream to present the latest product series to the on-site audience.
The AD3 is ideally suited for news reporting and broadcasting, ensuring the complete and reliable capture of interview audio. It delivers unmatched audio quality and RF performance while fully leveraging the wide tuning range and encryption capabilities of the Axient Digital platform. This device can transform any wired microphone into a wireless one, making it adaptable to virtually any scenario or application. The Axient Digital AD3 Plug-on Transmitter is a portable, professional-grade solution that meets broadcast-quality standards.

Mr. Fang Junwei, Senior Product Manager at Shure

Mr. Fang also introduced the Shure TwinPlex™ miniature omnidirectional microphone, highlighting its unparalleled clarity. The innovative dual-diaphragm technology delivers natural sound quality across both high and low frequencies, ensuring your voice is captured with complete fidelity. Its capsule design is easy to conceal while maximizing the effective diaphragm surface area, perfectly capturing the performer's voice.

In addition, to enhance technical exchange within the industry and promote the internationally renowned brand products and advanced audio technologies represented by Sound Works, Sound Works joined hands with the Guangdong Association of Recording Engineers to hold the unveiling ceremony for the "Sound Works Education and Training Base" at the GDARE Training Center during the exchange event.
